The OutcastHe made his way across the open plain that expanded for several miles around the capital ending in forest in the north and south and ocean in the east and west. Lost and alone in the world, his only companion was the sword that hung from his belt. He had been wandering aimlessly for the past day or so, not bothering to find a place to sleep or eat; he was too dazed to even think straight. He sank to he knees in exhaustion. In a MomentIt had all gone wrong, they had the wrong city, and now time was running short, dangerously short. Timebender ran as fast as he could, slowing time as much as possible. His car was out of gas after the mad dash through the desert, however even with the car he knew he didn't stand much of a chance. As he ran across the California desert he glanced at his watch, for the first time in his life time was not on his side. When he glanced back up he almost ran into a building on the outskirts of a small town. He quickly scaled the building, but when he reached the top he was greeted by a blinding flash of light.
